Crimson Shore

I’m super excited to announce details of my forthcoming novel. It’s the first book in a new straight crime series called The Gold Detectives. Based in the same area of North Wales and Anglesey, but introducing a new CID team led by DI Amanda Gold. Release date 1st June.

I’m also very proud to reveal my new cover, designed as ever by the talented JD Smith Design, and hope you enjoy the sound of the book from the blurb below.

I am looking to recruit five readers to review the novel prior to launch date, so if you’re interested please leave a comment below.

CRIMSON SHORE – THE NEW CRIME NOVEL

FROM GILLIAN E HAMER

A half-naked woman dead in a ditch. A disappearing pathologist. A teenager run off the road. For a peaceful island, Anglesey is experiencing abnormal levels of crime. What’s the connection?

DS Dara Brennan has women problems. His boss, Amanda Gold, is embroiled in office politics and his wife thinks he’s a disappointment. And then there’s DS Kelly Jones.

As missing-persons cases become murder enquiries, Dara must put aside his personal life and focus on the killer’s trail. The only tenuous link between the victims is an abandoned children’s home. What happened there, twenty years ago? And who is hell-bent on revenge?

Dara’s keeping his eyes on the road. But he forgets to look in the mirror.

Crimson Shore is the first novel in The Gold Detectives series, set along the North Wales coast.

Would love the opportunity to review a copy!

    • Excellent, will be sending them out mid May and I’d like reviews up on Amazon / Goodreads ready for 1st June – would that be okay? It’s a bit of a tight deadline, I know. But always better I feel to have a few reviews in place prior to launching it. Will send you a note now to email address so you have my details. Thanks Amanda!
